Hi Sharon, I brought Rio home a little over a week ago and everything is great. He has made friends with everyone in the neighborhood and especially loves the kids across the street, who come to play with him most days. Everyone at his Vet's office melted when he first visited. The receptionist absolutely refuses to allow me to make appointments on her day off! He has learned a few basic commands, is doing well with house training, and is content in his crate at night. After meeting Rio, several people have requested your information, which I gladly passed along. Thank you for everything you've done to make the process of acquiring a puppy an informative and completely enjoyable experience. All the best, Terry Fowble

We picked up our second Golden Retriever puppy, from Goldminer Golden’s, last Saturday. This puppy is as cute as can be, even for a golden retriever. We’ve named him – Mac for MacArthur. We already have a 2 ½ year old male we got from Goldminer Golden’s, and this first dog is better looking than any Golden we’ve ever seen in the Golden Retriever books or Calendars. His disposition is also wonderful. My wife says that Mac is even better looking than our first golden was as a puppy. This is the breeder from which to get the best Golden’s you’ll ever find. Thanks so much Sharon!

Daisy has been with us for 3 days now. She is full of personality and quite independent for such a young pup. These traits will make her an excellent Obedience Dog! I already have her retrieving for me AND I get her to "say" please when she wants a treat. She sits up on her back legs with her paws in a begging position and paws the air. We've been working on "sit" today and she pretty much already has it down. I love her very much and can't wait to really start working with her! It was so nice to meet you and work with you. Maybe she will need a companion in a couple of years??? ;)

Sharon and Don! It's been 3 WHOLE days since we brought Lucia home with us (Lucy for short; so now you have two Lucy's in your Goldminer family!) and we couldn't be any happier ! She is such a delight and we are very much looking forward to seeing her grow into a beautiful Golden like the ones you have at home. We didn't just welcome Lucy into our lives, but we also began a great lasting friendship with you and your husband ! We were so fortunate to have come across and couldn't be any luckier. Lucy is already almost housebroken , which is WONDERFUL news and cannot get enough of human attention. Can't wait to share with you photos throughout these months and the next chapter of our lives in Germany with her. Since we are both serving in the Army, she will become quite the world traveler ! Can't wait to tell people how she came into our lives ! ~Laura and Calvin

Enjoyed your website very much. Do you expect to have litters available late Nov. and Dec. this year? We lost our golden in Dec. 2010 after 13 and 1/2 years. Thank you.

I got both of my golden retrievers from Sharon almost 17 and 13 years ago! They were truly THE BEST dogs I have EVER had! Not only were they beautiful but they were so much fun to be around! They made our home a home. They traveled and moved with us anytime we left (Hawaii, Virginia, Arizona, and California). We met Sharon in 1994 in Sierra Vista, AZ while she was at a show with Jesse James. We feel in love with him and kept in contact for when Jesse James delivered us his offspring! I got Cinnamon (my first golden) from goldminer goldens when i was five (I’m almost 23 now)!!! Cinnamon was the mellow one in the family! She was easy to just lie in bed with and snuggle up to. She loved being in the house and surrounded by people. She was pretty much the queen of the castle and we were all just living in it. She lived a great 11 years with me and my family before passing away in 2005. My mom will probably never admit it since she says she loves all of our dogs equally, but Cinnamon was definitely her favorite dog she ever had. Spice was a different story, as much as my mom hates to admit this, but Spice was MY dog. She didn’t pay attention to anyone else when I was around. Even though Cinnamon and Spice were half sisters, they were POLAR opposites! She just passed away this past January at 13! she was rambunctious and adventurous until the day she left us. She was my best friend from when I was 9 and survived high school with me as well as coming and living with me in college! She was so much fun and I miss her every day! She loved the beach!!! It was her favorite place to go in the summer!!! She loved being inside but boy did she love the outdoors! She’s one you would call a tom-boy She was definitely a retriever! She loved any form of water…from the beaches in California to loving to play in the snow in Virginia. Since January, I feel like a part of me is gone and I know where the void is: I miss having my little puppies to play with (yes…I think they’re puppies their whole lives. It doesn’t matter how old they are). I just wanted to thank Sharon for providing me with the most beautiful gift of my life. These dogs were not just pets; to me they were my family and I miss them every day. I recently contacted Sharon for a new puppy! I can’t wait to have this little ball of joy with me for wherever life takes me next!
